Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyonnais have officially announced the signing of defender Jason Denayer from Premier League champions Manchester City.
Denayer, a 23-year-old central defender who can also line out in a defensive midfield role, had been on the books of Man City since 2013, when he made the move to the Etihad from JMG Academy.
However, Denayer, capped 8 times by Belgium, never actually managed to make a Premier League appearance for the Citizens, having been farmed out on loan to the likes of Celtic, Sunderland and Galatasaray over the last 4 seasons.
