Talk about shooting yourself in the foot   it seems the EFL are even more determined to make the Premier League a closed shop than they are  

Completely agree, I understand what they are trying to achieve and prevent clubs from overspending but if the debt is owed to the owner then the club won’t go under. DC has money, he says he wants to spend it but FFP stops him from doing so, and now they won’t let him spend a single dime!!!

And as you say the clubs coming down simply have a ton more money to spend under the same rules - hardly a level playing field like its designed to achieve!!!
