So "Vote Leave" violated electoral law and a subsequent £61k fine prevails. And the VL campaigners' reaction to the scathing criticism from the Electoral Commission is a classic RW Trump move by calling it a political ploy!! Absolute bullshit as it is becoming abundantly clear this is cheating the democratic process "on a grand scale" but reversing the process is well nigh impossible because of the poor way the whole EU referendum was set up in 2016 with no legal caveats/associated clauses created to cover for said voting and campaigning violations/improper practise. However, a move to reverse the activation of Article 50 has never been done but could be legally tested in the law courts if the British govt or parliament felt there were strong grounds to do it.
