Having not met in a competitive game for about 34 years a quirk of fixtures meant that they met twice in four days, having wo the first game 3-0 on Saturday, Nantwich duly completed a double over City in four days.
Until City equalised on 38 minutes they were distinctly second best to a decent Nantwich side who played some very good passing football running City ragged with their movement.
