I think he will just be another one of those strikers who comes to the prem and ends up getting about 10 goals a season. Rondon, Gabbiadini, Diouf, Joselu, Mounie, Benteke, Afobe etc etc etc. are all decent players but they won’t score as many as their teams would like them to most seasons. Besides, teams just don’t create enough chances these days unless you are in the top 6, so what is a good season for a striker these days??
I often think these lower half prem teams would be better raiding the lower leagues for a striker and giving one of them a punt because I reckon some of them would also get 10 or so goals and would save the club 20m in the process.
