I base that comment on his non-committal interviews and wonder is he stupid enough to leave a good scene in Aberdeen to join this absolutely toxic footie club and it's group of very 'shady' and arrogant people who 'rule the roost' within this poisonous atmosphere in Govan that is devoid of honour and respectability!
Of course he is considering it!! I seriously doubt he sees them in the same light as you do but even if he did as a football manager he would be looking at it and imagining himself being the hero who turns them around and starts winning trophies again!!! Deluded from the outside maybe, but they all have an inner belief in themselves.
Hmmm.
I'm not so sure SCO, normally i'd say you are right. Mcinnes is a dyed in the wool hun, sleekit as they come and brimming with faux dignity. After they got thrashed by celtic midweek he seemed resigned that he couldn't bridge the gap, maybe he thinks he stands more of a chance with sevco.
However aberdeen are a club on the up,they have a new stadium in the works and increased attendances. He no long signed a new long term deal and he has a good relationship with the board there. He knocked back sunderland who could have paid him a lot more because he knew they were a shambles.
Sevco are not the same club as the one mcinnes played for back in the day. I'd say its no given that it should be that he will leave aberdeen.
