I'm inclined to agree with you there, 0762. If only the SNP hadn't carelessly lost 12 seats to the Tories! In my constituency, the Tory candidate gained a swing of 10,000 votes over the sitting SNP Member. It would seem that most of South Scotland and the North-East felt the same. A veritable backlash against Nicola, Alex and Angus. If it hadn't been for that collapse, the SNP would have had a strong position allied to a Labour Minority Government.
Just as an aside, the UK Government could have plenty of money for housing if it really wanted. Reduce the Trident submarine fleet by 1 (it still gives us a viable nuclear deterrent), scrap HS2 (saving 20 minutes on a train journey for high-powered businessmen - what a waste of money) and don't pay the DUP the bribe. But no, the Tories love to spend our money, even though they say we can't afford it!
