I must say that if the indigenous Scottish vote had been the only vote in 2014 we would've been an independent country pushing on in another direction but still trading with the UK, no doubt. As for the Royal Family, I think Lizzie has done very well out of the state and I don't think Scots in general have any 'axe to grind' with her/them apart from the 'privilege issue' and the patronage that attracts the 'hangers on' esp from the relative privileged groups of people. However, I think her/their dynasty is almost over and I'd expect lots n lots of people in England to object to 'more of the same' with a next generation of royals - no way and I'm all for a federalist revolt with the main focus on downgrading of status, property and public funding!! The ever loyal Tories will attempt to block it but I'd like to see the 'will of the people' prevail on this issue.
