And so after heartbreak for Spennymoor, who almost toppled a team from four leagues above them, the FA Cup trail takes AFC Telford down to Hampshire to take on Conference South team, Basingstoke Town.
The match will take place at what is now known as the Soccer AM Stadium, but it's real name of The Camrose reflects the name of the club's late benefactor, Lord Camrose. The ground has a capacity of 6,000 and the record attendance was at this stage of the competition in 1997 when over 5,000 turned out to watch them take on Wycombe Wanderers.
Basingstoke have Premier league experience in their squad with ex Reading midfielder James Harper. He hasn't made his debut yet, having signed last month after being released by Barnet in the summer.
They also have a famous name in Louie Soares in the squad. No not cannibal boy, this one is the Barbados international midfielder who made his name with Aldershot.
Although Telford are a league above Basingstoke, in terms of numbers in the pyramid, they are only one place above. Telford are currently bottom of the Conference Premier, whereas Basingstoke are top of the Conference South. So that could make them slight favourites to knock out the premier league team.
The draw for the second round is once again being shown live on BBC2 on Monday evening at 7:00.
