Brighton and Hove Albion @ Deepdale

After the glory it is back to the mundane stuff although the visit of leaders Brighton is hardly mundane. Albion are on a lengthy unbeaten run which goes back to a 2-1 reversal to Reading on 20/9/2016 a non too shabby record. Proudly sit top of the pile will take a good side to beat them and just so happens they play us on Saturday.
They beat Franchise in the cup at the weekend making 11 changes in the process, now sometimes this works for you sometimes it does not. However Hughton's first eleven will be well rested and prepared for Saturday, fair play to them decent side with decent players and in Glenn Murray a proven goalscorer. Danger all over the pitch will cause us problems especially in midfield where the one more assasination squad called Pearson is suspended.
Drew down their 2-2 with a late Makienok goal at the time we were back down to ten. Clashes between the two sides have been close the last time there was a positive result was in 2005 when North End won 3-0 that was the first time in seven years I had missed any home game sadly was ill that day.
Think Albion will have a fair few travelling northwards hopefully the weather will be decent.
Apart from the aforementioned Pearson, Beckford serves his last game suspension until he gets sent off again, Gallagher came off against Arsenal may be available, midfield looks weak on Saturday may be tough this one.

Brighton last three WWW Next three Sheff W H Cardiff H Huddersfield A
North End last three DWL Next three Aston Villa A Ipswich H Cardiff A
