£13m hardly 'smashes' the club record, as quoted....

I read it was £17m but can't remember where.

There have been various media quotes as to the bid ranging from £13m to £18m. I am still of the opinion that the Schneiderlin interest is a smoke screen in an attempt to camouflage our real target. It is so unlike the Baggies to so publically advertise our interest. That said, new owners, new modus operandi maybe.....
