European Union Referendum - In or Out??
Now we have the latest revelation that the Tory govt have paid out £65M for 'Brexit departments' and yet, after 3 months since the leave vote prevailed, we have no real definition of what Brexit actually is and what direction this fragile Tory gov is gonna take!! IMO a joke!

We require proper, reputable people to negotiate the 'best deal' that May keeps 'banging on about'! I don't believe the Tories are capable of providing that expertise and we are gonna be in deep shit when she decides to commit political suicide on this issue if she dares to do it! Watch this space!

Proper, reputable people rarely become politicians. The few that do don't get a shout at a top job. Too many vested interests with their noses in the troughs to make sure that doesn't happen. I don't just mean our Parliament either.

I certainly concur with that critical view of most ambitious politicians and we've been observing that kinda shameless behaviour for years n years - lotsa like minded MPs who have no solid fundamental values at all and definitely have short memories re the drivel that they utter and eventually contradict themselves - all done to suit their own narrow, unscrupulous agenda! Bliar is a classic example of originally professing socialist principles but he was one of the biggest political hypocrites of all time!! A Middle East peace adviser (that was a laugh) and an ex PM who urged people to embrace the state school education system but ensured his kids were taken in to the selective London Oratory School!! Hypocrisy prevails eh!!

The COE, Philip Hammond, confirms today that the Tories will renege on their election promise re guaranteeing an economic 'surplus' by 2020 - obviously covering for a 'fear for the worst scenario' eh! So it looks like he favours more borrowing (haven't we already borrowed enough money??) and we'll print more money into the bargain. He was one of the more moderate Brexiteers but I wish these lying b####### had revealed these kinda negative circumstances/economic eventualities when they were falsely selling this idea to the British population before the vote was taken.
I'd luv to see this whole Brexit shit totally hijacked by mass protests, the likes of which we've never seen before since the days of the poll tax!! I regard all this shit as part of a Tory fiasco/botch up/infighting with smarmy Farage's UKIP party mildly attached to it as well!! IMO a bunch of stupid c#### and that will be proved in years to come if they are stupid enough to activate a 'Pandora's box' called article 50!! Thumb down

I thought may had maybe set these idiots up to fall, but no she actually believes the shite they are peddling at that conference. The inflammatory language and policy designed to appease small-minded, ignorant, bigoted, racists just makes me despair.

The country is going to go to the dogs in the hands of these loonballs. Nothing in the way of a credible opposition either. We are going to get exactly the kind of country i thought we would after we voted no to independence.

scary days.

Yep! I share similar sentiments jim.  And did you listen to that hypocritical shit comment by May re divisive nationalists in Scotland!!! Thumb down This is coming from the most divisive UK political party in living memory - namely the Conservatives, the party of the elite, the wealthy, the private school brigade etc and I had a bellyful of these shameless people like May and that arsehole Davidson whose speech was nothing short of cheek and shameless hypocrisy - nothing new because I heard enough of this shameless unionist drivel from her in 2014, the year of the Scottish referendum! Also some of the xenophobic comments from Rudd and May were breathtaking TBF - apparently praised by the right wing French MP, Marie le Penn!! I've never been naturally drawn towards nationalism but the negative events of the past few years have definitely solidified my resolve to back Nicola and the SNP as the party that represents Scottish interests. Keeping the possible prospect of Scot Indy alive is no bad thing IMO with events like the future state of the British economy, the possible threat to thousands of Scottish jobs and the future health of the EU economy very much taken into account and how the 'mood' of the Scottish people could be significantly changed as Nicola Sturgeon has previously suggested. And yes, she is 'doing the day job' under difficult circumstances and contrary to the cheap little political jibes from divisive Tories who are nothing more than political lightweights anyway!!! The problem is they are bizarrely governing the UK at the moment! IMO a scenario that never ceases to amaze me!
