HRK is far better than Lambert.........yes I know he's no Manolo Gabbiadini (who we were linked with also) or a Slimani BUT he's a decent striker and as Beefy says, he ran his contract down, he wasn't released by Reading so lets give him a chance.

NYOM, personally I had never heard of him but a mate who lives that way says he's a good signing and a fast strong RB which is what we have needed for years now and NO I'm not knocking Dawson but Dawson lacks pace but is a danger to other teams from our corners.

GALLOWAY, looked decent in the last game. Fast and although got caught out a few times had the pace to get back and get the tackle in, also good going forwards.

CHADLI, very pleased with this signing but he also goes missing like Sess did apparently but an exciting player all the same.

I'm also very disappointed that we did not get these so called 'great players' but the ones we have signed are better than what we have let go... (well I actually liked Poc and Gamboa but they didn't get a look in).

Now its down to Pulis to play them because as we all know he buys players and leaves them in the stands. I know this is NOT his fault but he has now got imo better players so lets see what he does now.

A shambles as always but there is the slightest of silver linings in half decent players signed.

I quite like the look of the above team. It isn't as strong as it should be given the typical Albion faffing about in the transfer market but Tony Pulis is a good at squeezing everything he can out of an average team so as long as he keeps us out of the relegation zone until the January transfer window then we should realistically be able to sign some quality players with some of the new owners money.

Chadli isn't good at tracking back so by playing him as the number 10 his lack of tracking back becomes less of an issue and he can create chances and be our main man in terms of creativity. Phillips and Robson-Kanu with pace out-wide (Robson-Kanu has played the majority of his career as a left winger so it makes sense to play him there - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/hal-robso...eler/65976) and they will track back properly like Pulis likes.

I agree that some of the 'Reading reject' comments about HRK are out of order as they obviously wanted to keep him.

But whenever I've watched him, he looks lower league fodder. His goal record is poor even for an attacking midfielder and most of that time was playing at a lower level.

I hope I'm wrong, but the signing screams of doing things on the cheap... AGAIN.

Our best XI should be good enough to keep us in the league, but we're wafer thin in terms of squad. Hell, even our best XI has no legs in the middle of the park. I'm GOBSMACKED we didn't sign a good central midfielder at the very least. Hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.

Regarding Camacho, I find it hard to believe Pulis pulled the plug as that simply isn't logical as he's been pleading for signings. The only logical explanation why Pulis would do that is if he didn't want him in the first place, which begs the question what communication is actually going on within the hierarchy that runs the club? Probably very little based on what we've seen over the past 3-4 years...

With this they claim tenuously that Pulis wasn't happy with Camacho and pulled the plug...even though he'd supposedly passed a medical and signed - it's a bit odd isn't it? With this, the club looks slightly better than saying "we were cheap and messing about" and they're not fully blaming Pulis either meaning he takes some of the blame but he hasn't been fully put out to dry either.

Even if you hugely dislike Pulis, I can't see him pulling out of a deal - historically he doesn't care about spending a clubs money and really needed a player in that position. It doesn't make any logical sense for him to dropout, especially as the deal got so far down the line, I don't think he has that amount of power either, especially as his contract is running down.
