England v India
The t20I Match
Sunday 7th September
at Edgbaston
starting at 15:00
Tim Bresnan was in the squad for this one, the first squad he's made on this Indian tour, but unfortunately for him and indeed for County Champions elect Yorkshire, he's out with a shoulder injury.
There is one new name for us all to get used to. It's Jason Roy of Surrey. He was the leading run scorer in the t20 Blast this season. He will open the batting with Alex Hales, who was rather disappointing in his first stint in international 50 over cricket.
The finisher, Ravi Bopara, is back after being strangely left out of the ODI series and Eoin Morgan once again has the chance to put his name forward as a regular one day skipper, as Stuart Broad is still resting up after surgery, which will keep him out of the tour of Sri Lanka in November.
Ben Stokes, who scored 164 in the Royal London One Day Cup semi final for Durham Jets against Nottinghamshire Outlaws today is not in the squad, but James Taylor, who made 114 in the losing Notts reply, is in.
India have kept the same players, rather than fly some more out just for this one off match
England squad: Eoin Morgan ©, Moeen Ali, Ravi Bopara, Jos Buttler (w), Steven Finn, Harry Gurney, Alex Hales, Chris Jordan, Joe Root, Jason Roy, James Taylor, James Tredwell, Chris Woakes.

Should do.
First one goes for SIX.
Two. Then a dot.
FOUR.
No run. A four will tie.
Just a single.
