The Sham had him in for a trial as well but he did not make the grade for them. I seem to remember seeing on the club site I think a review by the youth team manager of his performance which was partly reproduced in this article along with the views of the reporter.

I don't really care what West Ham's opinion was of him. After all there could have been a variety of reasons not to proceed away from pure skills and ability.

My view is that he is an Arsenal product and he will have plenty of skills and speed (backed up by the review of his trial with us).

I see glimmers of Albion investing in youth and so he could be a great asset to the club and I'd buy him and give him the chance he clearly wants.

Biggest issue is whether TP would ever play him in the first team - but I am beginning to suspect that TP will not be a factor once the new ownership has been ratified.

Instead of reading about signings this morning I'm reading about the embarrassing shambles of last night and furthermore I've changed my mind about sado again. Get shot of him for whatever someone is daft enough to offer. We may as well keep lambert FFS because I can't see a way out of this particular transfer window now. If TP does get the sack and I think the pressure is truly on him now and rightly so then who's going to sort transfers out. If we keep TP who's going to want to come to WBA under his management with the state were in. This is a total balls up we could be swapping places with any of the other west mids come the end of this season. :-(

Well I did post on the Everton game thread that we were a Shambles against the Toffees so last nights result didn't come at a surprise to me. As for our transfer policy the least said the better. There are mutterings that James Mc Arthur might be available. We looked at him a few years ago. Why not enquire about him.? He is young (25) and has a good engine . And yes I agree we need a flair player (or 10), a striker (or 2), a LB, a RB ETC (The list goes on & on) but we do need to sort out the midfield. Angry Angry Angry Angry

I must say that I'm getting quite (cynically) amused by the various postings and speculation over us buying creative, attacking players. Given the Messiah's (sorry Vic) need to play 4 central defenders, 2 holding midfielders, 2 "wide men" whose main task is to protect those central defenders playing at full back, and Rondon....apart from a replacement for Saido, where exactly will these players fit in? I remember Stoke fans getting excited when Pulis bought Tugay (allegedly due to with their Chairman's demand for more creativity) - he spent most of his Stoke career collected splinters on the bench.

yup.

If Liverpool and Middlesbrough are interested, then I can not see him signing for us, Liverpool, bigger better team / prospects, Middlesbrough, nearer to his current home / friends. Do not know his history .... region born etc. We keep aiming for targets and other teams steal in first.
