Although, like most of us, I'm frustrated at the lack of transfer activity into the club, I'm a lot more concerned that we've gone from "Jonny Evans is not for sale" to "A deal may be done before deadline day". This guy is outstanding and is unquestionably our best defender, arguably our best all round player. We've already sold James Chester, why on earth would we now sell the best player we have. I'm sure Evans would be very interested in moving to Arsenal but I'm astonished we would even vaguely entertain this.

In JP's time I have been supportive of his way of working but the situation in the event of him selling appears to be worse than I ever anticipated.  Just who is running the shop?  You would have thought that at a time like this the Club would have attempted to involve and console the supporters as far as is practical.  The lack of new squad faces and now the apparent acceptance of the sale of one of our best players is disappointing, not to say frightening.  I was uneasy about JP ever handing over to others and my worse fears appear to be materialising at the moment.  Come on, Albion.  What is going on?  If this situation turns really pear-shaped, it'll take more than a few scarves and drinks to put right.

Baggie 38 who as you remember during the takeover was spot on with everything.

On the takeover thread i kept you up to date for weeks and he was eventually proven right on Everything.

As a ITK he is usually spot on 95% of the time.

The last few days he has been saying the club are working hard at bringing players in,
We could go out and buy anybody to fill the Squad
We are not after 5 squad players we are after first team players theses are harder to pull off but things are happening.

Take this as you will , he has no name but we are apparently close to signing a player from Lazio .....
Not in the papers you see
Now he may be wrong but not very often , we are also enquiring about the young guy from Everton who is a LB.

Interesting to know Pulis has just been on SKY and says he is more confident of getting things done next week so Baggie 38 might not be far wrong on what he is saying .......

Looking at the Lazio squad, it could be one of either Keita, Tounkara or Minala. The first 2 are described as forwards and the latter as a midfielder. Ravel Morrison is also at Lazio !

I agree with you mate every step of the way
I have been following Baggie 38 as has skad I think for a few years now
He's not always right but just thought i should share it with you all
It may all collapse again even if true,
So yes at this moment i am as worried as the next baggie fan
But i think reading between the lines and as Pullis is more encouraged about next week keep those fingers crossed
