Excellent stuff, let's hope we don't switch off towards half time again.

Town soar into 16th place on the back of that one. Mid-table obscurity is now within reach. Smile

Now 5 teams with a worse goal difference than us too.

Disappointing, average performance, poor first half better second, we kept possession well and kept our shape well but we lacked urgency to get the game won. No support from the midfield to the attack, Scannell cut the ball back to the penalty spot but no midfielder to finish off the move, Holt isolated. Poor use of subs too.

Some around us were saying we were shit again. What short memories these people have. We have come a long way in the few weeks since Cozy became manager and that performance last night was far from shit.
Scannell wasn't as effective as on Saturday but was still man of the match. Three defenders on him every time he had the ball. He still wanted to beat them all though when a pass would've been the better option.
The one time he did pass to the supporting player, Smith got in the cross that led to the goal.
Their goal was one of those annoying ones where we should have had a foul before the corner was given. How often do we concede when there has been a wrong decision given? Rolleyes
Another good game from Smithies. Great tip onto the bar late on to save the one point.

Happy with the result and performance last night, Brighton may be struggling right now but they are no mugs.

Scannell was effective first half but where as on Saturday his cut backs wee finding a Town player last night they weren't.
The midfield 3 of Hogg,Coady and Butterfield worked hard against a BHA team that looked to be playing 4-1-4-1 at times meaning space in the middle was at a premium.
Top notch save from Smithies to tip one over the bar in the second half and good awareness to come out early and collect a through ball when Brighton looked to be in on goal

Special mention to the liner on the DG side of the pitch, very assertive with the decision making last night. He flagged the goal straight away, he let play go at times and then when the advantage didn't come he pulled the game back and finally he flagged offside for the BHA goal in the second half....even though I'm not sure it was
