Townsend going to Palace

Anders Lindegaard has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.  Good news in the respect as it pretty much puts the Boaz going to Vile rumours to bed.

8 more academy starlets sign pro-contracts hopefully promising news for the future and the Academy has had its top level status renewed.

Why???  Here's a player who's been around for a while, playing in the lower leagues and, it would seem on whom Reading are not prepared to take a punt. He scores the winner for Wales v Russia and then does nothing v England except be fouled by Rooney for Wales' goal. Based upon this we are now "interested" in him. Is the level to which we have now sunk? A non-entity available on the cheap!

He is starting to make this goal scoring lark a bit of a habit and a top class goal into the bargain Whistle

I'll say it again, Hal would be an amazing free transfer and he'd fit TP's style easily. Hope we do manage to get him!

July has arrived and the transfer window is officially open now:

Andros Townsend to Palace and potential Benteke about to follow. Lindegaard released.
New striker interest for us in Josip Ilicic (Fiorentina) but we are one of many taking a look.
