And the violence begins again as a big England match looms in Euro 2016!!!

Ideally, they 'take the disappointment on the chin' and move on. However, my gut feeling tells me that will not be the case and the drunken morons/shit losers tarnish an already damaged reputation even further. I'll be impressed if the former scenario does arise! Id like to think we'd handle it in the same way we did a last minute equaliser from Russia.

Listen I know we've got a few idiots and probably more than anybody else but considering we probably have more fans out here than anyone than the hosts a really do think the vast majority have been well behaved and in the case when they haven't been behaved they have been provoked first.
I can't talk about what has happened in Lille overnight as I haven't seen the news but from reports in Lens overnight it seems to been all good between England and Wales fans and long May that continue no matter what the result tomorrow

It's just a matter of time until we qualify....we have no one decent in our group and the minnows that are Scotland are easy pickings Laugh

No comment re the main point being intimated?? Travelling to a world cup tourney in Russia (if England make it!) could be fraught with danger esp if people wearing England shirts denigrate national flags of other countries, incl Russia - no laughing matter either as innocent people likely become the victims because of the stupid actions of other English morons!!! Thumb down
Also WakeyTerrier it looked like yesterday's early trouble in Lille was nothing more than 'handbags at 20 metres' with a few Russian fans. Lets hope it stays that way but more significant violent incidents today confirm that is wishful thinking!! More negative stuff to come I guess and it 'takes two to tango'! Rolleyes

They England fans were getting a serious skelping from guys in Lycra shorts and bumbags ffs. So much for the England "top boys". Filled their pants when the ruskies went for it in the stadium tae.

Englands "number 1" hooligan rep is in tatters currently.

no firms inolved banning order keeps them away ? and youll find if there are any firms in England these days ? they are full of 16 to 20 year olds ? hardly shit yourself tactics either as the most the usually happens is they smash a window at the bus stop !!

It looks like more of this shit is 'kicking off' in Lille after the Russia v Slovakia match and fans clashing with French Police! One English fan really looked in a bad way lying on the ground. Hopefully the Russian presence will dissipate from the city now the match interest is over.
