I think we will see more sides involved in fan violence and it will show this time that England fans are not the focus. Many of these different sides have ultras who fight on a weekly basis back in their own country and is now a side of the game not seen very often in the UK. They have obviously targeted these championship to see who is best off the park in their own sick way.

I'm sort of impartial here as am Welsh and they don't normally get in trouble. It will be interesting to see how our fans react when in the mix against certain eastern block sides, England fans and the local French hooligans trying to stir it up. Northern Irelands fans obviously had problems last night which sounds like it was the French starting it......[although Poland have a large ultra movement......even where I live in Edinburgh we have graffitti sprayed on the walls for a well known Polish Ultra group  Doh ]    ......they don't normally have a history of being involved in trouble so I don't think we have seen the end of it.

why ? the evidence is there for us to watch and most has been caused by these ultra groups who have got the questions answered back from the England fans ! im blaming the french police and uefa for this though because why on earth would you let England fans take all the pubs around the port who do get silly and there are quite a lot of wannabe knobheads ? they should have been kept far away from these streets and if it wasnt possible moved to another venue

I ask you when scotlands wannabe knobheads piss in the fountian in the center of london and act like loadmouth knobheads not all most just like the English ? do they deserve to have there heads kicked in ? in most cases yes for both !! and when someone tries it what happens ? do they just stand aside and let the poluce sort it ? in most cases the police have allready sorted it which brings me back to the xxxx up which is the french police ? who only come out when its happened wtf is that all about ?

and ive got you down as a xxxx by the way  Thumb up

thats the past ? a hardly saw millwall and chelsea headhunters running the show yesterday when the ultras showed up ? more of you average 16 year old wannabe who is about as lethal as mother hubbard ??? i dont think we have a problem anymore in our club stadiums apart from the obvious leeds millwall cardiff etc the rest doesnt exsist anymore ? most of these wannabes have had too much drink like the scots do too although i must admit the scots are less in yer face than this lot !

My point is this !! this lot could have been crontrolled with a strong English police presence and moved well away from that rathole port of marsellie !! It wasnt everybody sat back and watched it happen ? and we all knew it would happen ? conspiricy uefa fiffa id say it would be great to get rid of the nation that actually wants to sort the corruption out and blew the whistle on sepp and his rats !!

still nothing in the world news anywhere about the Germans and ukraines ? neither about poland and the Irish ? how strange is that ? and im sure croatia and the Turks had a tea party after the game ?

If some of our fans weren't acting like pricks Russian Ultras wouldn't feel there was anything to gain by attacking innocent fans.

Other countries might even follow our lead. After all they seem pretty quick to adopt the same ludicrous behaviour patterns.

Sorry Devon, I think that's nonsense regarding withdrawing from the tournament!!  That is just playing into the hands of the trouble makers and gives rival teams fans a perfect way to get a country banned.

And no country would follow our lead, they would then be saying thank god the English are taking all the blame for this and sit by holding their hands innocently in the air!!!

I'm not reading about ensuing violence through the night and will be very surprised if this scenario arises. The other incident was again an isolated one but, as hibeejim says, there is some previous bad blood between factions of extreme RW Polish fans and elements of NI 'prodyinspired' fans who I hope are in a minority within the mix of NI fans who wanna see their team doing well for a change.

So now trouble elsewhere, surely this too is the fault of the England fans isn't it???  Obviously I am being flippant but now you say this one is an isolated incident that can happen anywhere, politically motivated but it's ok because unlike England fans, most NI fans wanna see their team do well!!!  In actual fact the common denominator seems to be the local French ultras and youths, been involved in both cities now. We will see more of this going on, now let's see how it gets reported, if at all.

Comparing the awful events in Marseilles with the recent clashes in Nice is absolute nonsense and you know this is the case!!! This is a cute technique of deception and deflecting away from the 'English problem', which is self-evident and more significant than you wanna admit! Devongate summarised the English fans' problem eloquently enough in one of his previous threads and it's noticeable that you only wanted to focus on his suggestion of a unilateral withdrawal by the English FA! As previously commented, there is a problem with certain factions of English fans and it's no surprise the initial flashpoint involved England fans. The prob is multi-layered and there are so many factors attached to unsavoury elements of English fans - racism, sectarianism, antagonism, drunkenness, intimidation, English right-wing patriotism which is very unhealthy and the worst ones move around in mobs of yobbos who strive to create a poisonous atmosphere that could erupt into violence at any time and will react violently at the slightest provocation rather than ignoring it and walking away.
