I can see us all biting the bullet, as we have done for the last half a dozen transfer times, until the very end, and then we'll sign three or so, depending on their cheapness.

This is good news - It's natural a with new Technical Director Nicky Hammond coming from Reading that the press might speculate on his 'local knowledge' but Ola John is from Benfica and was on loan to Reading so slightly different.

Is this right that Dozza's off to Villa Park? What a nosedive his career's taken! I loved him as a Championship player, but he didn't quite cut it at Prem level. Mind you I'd rather have seen him in the team than Gardner last season.
Good signing for the Vile though.
