The zdkf1 website is super slow at the moment
; if anyone has trouble posting their prediction for Monaco, post it here instead.
The deadline for Monaco is one day earlier than normal
, on
Wednesday evening instead of Thursday.
Race recaps: (sorry I haven't been keeping up with these)
China: The stupid new qualifying system finally abandoned and a great race with loads of action (161 overtakes) but amazingly no retirements. Rosberg won easily again; Vettel and Hamilton coming back through the field to take 2nd and 7th respectively. Kvyat on the podium for Red Bull in third.
Russia: I felt this race was ruined by Pirelli going extremely conservative with their tyre compound choices and minimum pressures. Rosberg with his seventh victory in a row. Hamilton finished second and Raikkonen third. Vettel was taken out by a double collision with Kvyat on the opening lap. Kvyat was subsequently demoted to Toro Rosso (the Red Bull junior team), although this switch was probably planned before the incident in this race.
Spain: Rosberg and Hamilton collide on the opening lap paved the way for a tense and tactical race for the win between Red Bull and Ferrari. Verstappen emerging victorious on his debut for Red Bull, becoming easily the youngest grand prix winner at just 18 years old. He held off Raikkonen, both on 2-stop strategies. Vettel and Ricciardo tusseled over third place, both on 3-stop strategies, Ricciardo faster but unable to get past, and then he picked up a puncture so had to to settle for fourth.
