I'd like them to come on here. I think there would be more sympathy for them than not. I'd like to know if they can see a way out of this.

Football's all about supporting your team and disliking your rivals. I don't buy into this brotherhood stuff. I hate Blackpool as much as I hate Leeds United. As much as Blackpool hate Preston. As stated in the original post, the arrogant sods flew a plane with a mocking banner over Deepdale when PNE got relegated.
If any Blackpool fans want to come on here and air their views, fair enough. If anybody else wants to defend them and their actions that prevented us from finishing above Leeds for the first time since 1962, come on. I'm listening.
What you can't stop is my irrational dislike for somebody. And I have an irrational dislike for Blackpool FC, their supporters, their owner and their poxy ground.
Another club I have an irrational dislike for is Luton Town as well. And Blackburn Rovers.
Think I've covered them all there. Big Grin

Snoots, I am not sure it's fair to blame the Blackpool fans who invaded the pitch for you not finishing above L**ds!!! The FL should have given you all the points, it's their fault in the end!! But at the moment I am just glad we didn't make your "irrational" dislike list!!!

As regards their protests, I am not sure what fans can or should do to force change at their clubs. Look at Charlton, another club in turmoil, fans been protesting for a while now and nothing really achieved except like Blackpool another relegation!! Problem is, the owners of both clubs paid money for the clubs, or at least their family did, so why they even stay and watch the decline is beyond me and more to the point who is ever going to buy them out as well?? Blackpool will go bust if things do not change and Oyston is just the sort of charlatan to sit and watch that happen as well. It's one of the better things about a number of sports in the USA, an owner like him would be ousted by the other owners, if not for moral reasons then at least for the sports PR reasons!! No mechanism for that in the UK unless he breaks the law in a way the FL doesn't like, aka Cellino, so until someone stumps up enough cash for him to sell up then it's not going to get any better for them.

Oh, and just to add if there are any Blackpool fans reading this, get yourself logged on with a few mates and put your side of this sordid story forward. Most fans on here are reasonable enough to debate and even be turned to your point of view, something that could help your cause in the long run.

Well done themaclad.

Snoots, hating to the point of destruction is stupid. You'll no longer be able to revel in your own irrationality once you get your wish. It's a form of self-hatred.

Frankly if Huddersfield can't finish above Leeds at the moment, I think you need to direct your ire much closer to home.

When a club is in disarray and clearly operating in free-fall mode the Football League should inquire into it. Not at the first sign of dissatisfaction of course ..... but if it is obvious it is far more than temporary failure on the pitch we are all witnessing, then questions should be asked as to whether that club is even fulfilling its obligations to sport.

In Chesterfield you are born to "hate" Mansfield and either the Blades or the Owls, or sometimes both! But we are vastly poorer when Mansfield struggle even to stay in the league. We love to beat teams from Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. It enriches us, makes even shitty lives slightly better.

In the words of Laurie Anderson, "when you see a man who is broken, pick him up and carry him".

Oh God (reaction to snapchat)

Laurie Anderson kept Lou Reed human for years. She is a woman of great wisdom and insight. She has a sense of humour, yet manages to be profound. You should try harder.

I'm not much for the brotherhood of football, but I cant bear to see injustice pissed down on decent loyal people from a great height ....... without anyone bothering to do anything.
