A really good Day One with Speith throwing off all his recent troubles to return to the form of last season. The next three days could show whether he is going to dominate the sport in 2016 or whether he just got lucky yesterday. Could well be that he is going to save his best golf for the majors.

Several fancied names played themselves out of the tournament and Jason Day's collapse when a shot off the lead was surprising although I wouldn't rule him out. Reed, Scott, Bubba, Fowler & Schwartzel are out of it.

Looking forward to another great day of golf.

The Masters (Day Two)

A really interesting Day Two with conditions getting tougher. Speith managed to hold on to his lead by a shot from McIlroy and two from Lee & Piercy. Amazingly all of our players made the cut on a day when Leishman, Mickelson, Schwartzel, Grace, Zach Johnson, Els, McDowell, Fowler & Sullivan all went out.

I will miss most of today as it is match day but really looking forward to an exciting finish.

The Masters (Day Three)

A tough Day Three but again Jordan Speith managed to hold on to the lead on -3, leading by one from Kufman and two from Langer & Matsuyama, the only other players under par.

All our players are still going and most are moving up the leader board with each round as the flakier players fade away. It will be tough to get the winner now but a couple of places is more than possible. Speith still looks the best player but this course can ambush you at any time so Langer, Kaufman, Matsuyama, Day, Dustin, Willett, Snedeker & McIlroy will all be ready to pounce on any slip up.

The conditions have been tough for the last two rounds but weather reports suggest they should be better today so it might take a score of -6 to win it, which would rule out everyone over par now.

Need Langer & Kjeldsen to fall away to win Top Continental European bet but look good for a place.

Sheffield boy Danny Willett is giving Spieth a bit of pressure in the Masters. Spieth looks unbeatable this week and holds a 2 shot lead over Willett, going to be a good finish hopefully!!

Westwood also having a solid round but just can't get it really moving, story of his life in the majors!!

Casey in the clubhouse on -1 so that is the current target. Brits doing well at the moment!!

Incredible 3 hole in ones on the Par 3 16th so far today!!! Shane Lowry, Davis Love III and Louis Oosthuizen all getting an ace today!!

Spieth in the water on 12 now, this could get very tight all of a sudden!!

Now Spieth has put his third shot in the water as well!!!!!!!! Big changes going on, Sheffield lad Willett will be leading the Masters in a minute!!!

With his 5th shot on the Par 3 12th, he now shoots it over the green and into a bunker. Likely to be a 7 or 8 for Spieth putting him back in the pack!!

Quadruple bogey for Spieth, now back to -1 and Willett is the leader with 3 to play and now Westwood eagles the same hole and is in 2nd!!!! Brilliant stuff!!

Would be great to see Willett win it but would actually prefer Westwood to get his first major!! Willett birdies the 16th to go 2 clear of Westwood.

The Masters (Final Day)

What a fantastic final day to the Masters. Just when it looked all over with Speith five clear & nine holes to play, Willett started to push and Speith went into melt down, dropping six shots in three holes. It was Faldo v Norman all over again albeit this time sprinkled with a touch of Yorkshire and some Henderson's Relish. Dustin Johnson & Lee Westwood briefly threatened but you only had to look at Willett's face over the closing holes to see that here was a man on a mission. He has got better & better over the last two years. He pushed Rory all the way in last season's R2D and now as a Major winner, he might just go on to dominate this season.

Our guys did us proud. They all beat the cut and several were still in it on the final nine. We got a place on the Top Mainland European with RCB and I did have a small bet on Willett like I always do which covered me here.

Speith & Fitzpatrick got me a couple of places, although my winnings would have doubled if Speith hadn't melted on 10, 11 & 12 holes.
