I'm amazed clubs like Chelski, Man Ure and Spuds are still interested in the Brat Berahino. I would sell him tomorrow, Rondon has more work ethic in his little toe than that fat knob has in total.
SELL SELL SELL asap, get the silly money these clubs are offering and go for Charlie Austin or Danny Ings as he's not gonna get much of a chance at Liverpool. Even Jordan Rhodes. I'd also go for the likes of George Boyd (oh Hang on he's a winger).
Let the bidding war begin and get rid.

Sign both up
TP will love the pegs especially the square ones as he tries to get them in round holes,
The thermometer for the fans so they can use them to see if there temperature rises when TP makes his bewildering subs with 20 minutes to go

Who, at the Albion, thought it was a good idea to sell Kemar Roofe?
Newcastle and Stoke have joined the race for Oxford's 11 goal striker.

Who also decided that Romaine Sawyers wasn't up to the mark.
He's doing pretty well at Walsall and scored a classy goal the other week.
For all JP's threats to pull the plug on the youth scheme after the 'Izzy Brown' affair; there are a fair number of our former youngsters who are plying their trade very successfully elsewhere.
Are we releasing them too soon; it can't be a money saving tactic can it?

Gents, may i remind you that we are playing in the PL, where i doubt either Roofe or Sawyers could cut it.

What you say is probably right, Danny, and most Prem Clubs are probably all saying the same (including Chelsea, the Child-Abductors).
What IS the point of rearing your own Youngsters? Not only do you need Coaching Staff galore + Parent-enticement money, but you also need 2 or 3 pitches, which could otherwise be sold off to Property Developers. Then you have to take the chance of blooding them into the 1st team, or loaning-out to lower Leagues....and when they come back, they're out of contract!
Why not just poach finished articles from abroad?
I don't know what the answer is, but the Issy Brown case should be looked at by the FA as a very bad example of why English Clubs are not rearing enough homegrown players. I'm sure Football League Rules could be drawn up whereby each English Club must field at least (say) 6 homegrown players - or does this contravene any International Laws of employment. Does anyone know?

Exactly. If they'd have shown any promise whilst still at the club I don't doubt for a second that they wouldn't of been given a run out in the first team.
It's possible that us selling them on at teams at a lower level that's most likely given them a kick up the arse, and they now know it's time to knuckle down if they want a career in football.
Glad to hear products of our academy are doing well though, no matter where it is they're playing.
