Just as an aside, seeing as history was made this weekend: -

Wick Academy won their first ever senior trophy, demolishing Nairn 6-2 in the North of Scotland Cup Final at Brora's Dudgeon Park on Saturday.

Over 1,000 Academy fans made the trip south.

Postponement decision was a farce. Early inspection was passed no problem, match ref turns up at 2.15pm and immediately calls game off. There had been no further rain, and none forecast. Both teams wanted the game on, now Linlithgow Rose have to travel all that way again, probably in midweek too. There were a good bus-load of Rose fans who made the trip, it's a long way to travel just for a night out in 'the Backer'.

Still, at least Academy will be in the 4th round draw tomorrow afternoon!

Cowdenbeath or Arbroath at home

Wick versus Queens Park or Forfar at home if they get through

Cheers dd, your update was quicker than the STV's "live updates" page. Laugh

Nice and easy for us at home. Will wee Murdoch get a chance to play against us (if Cowden get through)? Hope so.

As for Academy, got to be happy with a home tie and will fancy their chances big time if they get through against Linlithgow Rose.
