....but Madine will get seven for them!!!!

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
I notice that Kevin Nolan is still available to sign after leaving West Ham by mutual consent. Anyone else think he could do a job for us in the Championship?? Of course he would be a free transfer but would cost a ton in wages but it might be worth it.

He could either be an inspired signing or an expensive misfit.

I am not sure which is most likely.

In the summer his agent was looking for £75k per week. He has probably come down a bit now but I doubt we would get him for £15k.

Yep, utter bollocks  Doh "A mediocre start"  Huh That would mean 5 defeats surely  Doh

We've basically got a brand new team and, whilst I agree we could have done better, calling our start mediocre is a bit strong (must be a piggywinkle who wrote it). We've had a tough start to the season in terms of the teams we've played first up. Ipswich and Boro are two of the strongly fancied sides, add in L*&ds away and it puts it in a different perspective. I've only been truly disappointed by the Reading result so far.

And we've won two LC games.

As for the J. Swift bit, it's probably fiction  Whistle

One win in 5 games isn't good enough though.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think he'll be gone by Xmas.
