LOAN RULES

Few people on social media are asking about the current rules in the Premier League surrounding loan moves in the wake of West Ham’s dealings today.

Answer: Clubs can have no more than FOUR loans across a season - no more than TWO at any one time; no more than ONE from the same transfer or club.

Victor Valdes is now 1/6 from 2/7 to remain at Man United which will seemingly leave the club with a wealth of goalkeeping talent. Elsewhere there's been more money on Charlie Austin to stay at QPR, meaning his price has been cut to 2/7. The striker is 9/2 to join Crystal Palace.

Leicester City have made an approach to Stoke City for Jonathan Walters, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources understand Joe Ledley has been given permission to leave the Wales squad in order to discuss a move away from Crystal Palace.

Ledley has been linked with a loan move to West Brom with Championship clubs Cardiff and Derby County also reportedly interested.
