So instead of getting him on a free, we decide to play 2 million for McLean? Missed out massively here and just shows how embarrassing our club is at the moment with the way we do transfers.
Just thinking the same thing Dan.
Not to mention that he also did his defensive duties well; heading a shot off the line.
What on earth were we thinking of not to sign this player?
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

Havnt posted since old bbc days but am a silent watcher, but all this winging and moaning has incensed me over the last few weeks. Can't anybody see we are a team in massive transition from what should have been a Champo team this season to a team trying to get rid of the shite we have bought for 2 seasons now. In doing this Pullis is rightly starting at the back hard to beat wins points at the moment.
So support the club and shut all the negativity up.
I'm not a Pullis lover or hater but an see what a mess he walked into.
There I have said it, feel a lot better now!!

The point 1 or 2 of us have been making is that we're grateful for Pulis achieving Premier safety last season, but......
to me we look worse than when we sacked Irvine, under whom we at least managed to string passes together.
"Hard to beat wins points" ??? I don't consider that we won a point at Watford - rather that we lost 2 pts!
And seriously, IF Rondon hadn't got that goal, I do believe that we'd have shown no more ambition, and settled for a valuable away point yesterday.
You've got to be simple to keep "taking the positives", such as "2 games with clean sheets" (against our Potteries neighbours).
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Not for or against pulis, we have been a mess for a few seasons now, and as baggiebailey said, we need to rebuild, start with defence, if you do not concede you can not lose and a goal gives you the points. Points keep you up which gives you money to rebuild. I hate the football we are playing and the stick from the cockney supporters at work, I work in London, when we play shite hoofball with no possession or control, holding on, just to a one nil against nine men ..... embarrassing. I want to be entertained by the footballing Albion team of the 70's and to win. No easy solution, but he has earned the right to manage us and this window. Let's stop fighting between ourselves over TP and discuss the comings and goings in the next two days. Judge in November ....... please.

I had us on 4 pts at this stage and so no real surprise. Lose to Chelski and Man City, Beat Watford and draw to Stoke - so near enough.
Always takes a while for the Albion to get into gear and this has been disrupted with us featuring more in the transfer window than usual. I have faith that we will do well this season and will get prettier to watch - but points win prizes.
