Several sources now suggesting that Spurs will offer £20m for Berahino this week and, more surprisingly that he has already been offered a £100K per week contract. Surely he's not even allowed to talk to another club at this stage!
They'll have spoken to his agent if anyone, and you can't stop Berahino talking to his agent.

A poll has found 53% of West Bromwich Albion fans are in support of the club signing 32-year-old former Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton, who is available on a free transfer. (Birmingham Mail)

As for Joey Barton, all I can say is they didn't ask me and, I suspect not many, if any of the contributors on here were canvassed either.
Hopefully, just more lazy journalism.
The 53% story came from a poll on the Mail website, where anyone and their dog could vote. Absolutely no questions about the club the voters supported so this "53% West Brom fans" is total fabrication, even worse than lazy journalism.

Tottenham expect to complete the £20m signing of West Brom forward Saido Berahino, 22, next week. (Sunday Mirror)
West Brom, Everton and Stoke are on the trail of Manchester United centre-back Jonny Evans, 27, but could be put off by the Northern Irishman's £12m price tag. (Sun on Sunday)
And the Baggies could also move for Birmingham winger Demarai Gray, 19. (Sun on Sunday)

Could be an excited few weeks:
David Marshall £5m+, Jonny Evans £12m, Dennis Praet £7m+, Demarai Gray £4m+ maybe
Said potentially off to Spurs. Lets face it £20m plus a player (or two) could be good business. Especially if we have Charlie Austin or another striker tee'd up to replace him.

David Marshall.......Don't need, spend the £5m elsewhere. Buy Demarai Gray and put him in goal because I guarantee you he will not play on the wing.
Jonny Evans.........£12m....Really? He's not worth that.
Dennis Praet..........£7m, never really heard of him until the hype and if press to be believed doesn't want to come and prefers the Vile.?
Demarai Gray, YES PLEASE but he will cost more than £4m
I've got an Idea, Play Chester who cost £8m in the CB role which is where he plays, Play wingers on the wings and not Gardner and Morrison.
Try Gamboa at Right Back which is where he plays, Poco at Left back which is where he plays. Both are good enough IMO.
I agreed we needed TP last season BUT after our first 2 games (and yes I know its very early in the season) I have been bitterly disappointed with our tactics and team selection. Some decisions have been baffling.
I watched MOTD and I have to say ourselves and Sunderland look embarrassing compared to the rest, NO PACE, NO WIDTH, NO PASSION.
Sadly I am not excited about incoming signings at the minute because apart from Rondon (know nothing about) and Gnabry (a new talent as hardly played for the Arse) and maybe Lambert.
Oh for another Bryan Robson, Laurie Cunningham, Cyrille Regis, Len Cantello, Bomber Brown, Willie Johnston & Kevin Phillips. Any of you not old enough you will never know what you missed.
A points a point come the end of the season BUT we are desperate for flair, attacking football and something to lift the fans. I will defer judgement on TP but I'm already running out of patience....PUT PLAYERS IN THEIR NORMAL POSITIONS!! Rant over

World-class, can not disagree with any of your points, you don't buy a Mercedes McLaren F1 car and then drive it in an RAC rally forest stage. Horses for courses, round pegs in round holes etc etc

With Pulis saying transfers will "surprise people" do we think one or two are all but done? its seems strange saying that unless you know these type of player are all but guaranteed to join

I think Marshall is all but done. The 'surprise' could be that we are close to signing actual fullbacks
