The UEFA section draw will be kicking off soon.

Pots as follows:

Pot 1: Germany (holders), Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, England, Wales, Spain, Croatia

Pot 2: Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, Iceland, Denmark, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Pot 3: Ukraine, Scotland, Poland, Hungary, Sweden, Albania, Northern Ireland, Serbia, Greece

Pot 4: Turkey, Slovenia, Israel, Republic of Ireland, Norway, Bulgaria, Faroe Islands, Montenegro, Estonia

Pot 5: Cyprus, Latvia, Armenia, Finland, Belarus, FYR Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Moldova

Pot 6: Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Georgia, Malta, San Marino, Andorra (and possibly Gibraltar depending on CAS ruling?)

Tough to say who I'd want to see in Scotland's group, but maybe something like:

Romania
Austria
Scotland
Estonia
Moldova
Malta

Not too exotic and no real fear-inducing side in there. Hopefully it'll fall better than the practise draw that gave us Netherlands, France and Republic of Ireland in our group. Sick

Scotland drawn v England for the first time ever in a World Cup quali group!! Both confrontations at Hampden and Wembley will be mouthwatering!! Could it be a good time for us to play the Auld Enemy? I'm certainly looking forward to both these high security matches like thousands of other fans of the Tartan Army!

Definitely a couple of tasty matches to look forward to. I'd expect England to win the group but I don't think we have anything to fear from the other sides, and it could be pretty tight between us, Slovakia, Slovenia and maybe Lithuania.

Scotland's improvement may well be enhanced further by the time that these World Cup quali ties take place. We could well be much closer to England's level compared with when we played the last couple of friendly international matches against them. Here's hoping!

Probably a good idea that England doesn't qualify for this tournament.
