Pre season friendly results and performances seem to have almost no correlation to league performances so have only limited interest in what happens in these matches.
However, we do appear to be lacking goals. We are creating chances but lack the quality up front to score enough goals. Maybe one signing will change everything.

We could do a lot worse than sign Lambert from Liverpool.
