Our defence wasn't great last season.

We actually conceded more shot & more shots on target than the previous season. The only difference was that Westwood saved so many more than Kirkland did so we conceded less goals.

i think barrys essential to the midfield gelling quick he will give wallace & matias time to settle in and also bring pace into the center aswell as on the flanks !! barry would be a great signing and all we need is a simular lee or hutch player bought in for when when of these 2 are out injured !!

potential short term view on his part. A well paid bench warmer for only a year at Watford versus a longer term contract playing for a bit less money with us. In a years time without much playing time interest and wages could significantly drop and overall he will be worse off financially.
