Pulis linked with Cardiff

Being reported in the Daily Mail that Pulis is being lined up as next Cardiff City Manager.

Are we going to miss out again on the one man who might sort out the dressing room?
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

As said on another thread, Pulis + JP = Whistle Cry ....it ain't gonna happen! Our structure would also have to be completely changed and ......it ain't gonna happen!

Also, if I WERE a betting man, I'd say that AI will be in huge danger IF we perform as we have recently, and pick up say 1 point, after the Hull game, and not before.......it would really make JP look a complete fool if he was to get rid before, surely Blush

Does anyone genuinely want TP? He's still a long ball monger he just didn't have the players to play that way at palace Tongue . We just need to bring in a specialist defence coach, because at the moment the centre backs are on completely different pages!

I think it's desperation for the solid defence and taking no shit from players which is behind calls for Pulis. Personally I wouldn't want him - we really do need to get back on track with our style of football, and I think Pulis would be more short-termism from the club if it happened - but I understand where it's coming from.

On a side note, Glass, is there any particular reason you've got a GIF of Mulumbu getting his knackers mashed as your sig?!

I really believe that Sherwood could of done a similar job to what Pulis could do at The Hawthorns, For me he would of been a real breath of fresh air who wouldn't take any shit! He would of gone in there and ruffled a few feathers in the dressing room and seemed happy enough working in our structure albeit just wanting to change a couple of backroom staff like Dingle Downing,I don't get why he wasn't unanimous first choice amongst Albion fans cause he is exactly what is needed there is something seriously wrong in that dressing room, looking back since Jan 2013 we've won only 11 games out of a possible 60 in the Premier League a few of them players who have it cushy down the Albion can count themselves very lucky to still be in the side week in week out
PEACE ITS TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE AND GO FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL MIX THINGS UP NOT JUST BE A F**KING YES MAN!!!!!
GRRRRRRR RANT OVER.......AND BREATH Smile

I agree that a new manager coming in and changing things could be very beneficial, (though there's inherently a risk with that that things could get much worse) but I wouldn't want Tony Pulis anywhere near the Albion. I would much rather be relegated than stay up with Pulis in charge. To me, he is one of the most loathsome people in football. Also not sure Sherwood could do the job: he didn't exactly pull up trees at Spurs.

Completely agree Will, in my mind we might as well bring Stevie Clarke back before even considering Timmy or Tony! I actually wouldn't mind that, think he could do good things with the squad we've assembled.

The bravery involved is a thing of beauty, wouldn't you agree? That's what we're missing currently I think, a couple of people who will stand up and throw their nuts in the way of a shot on goal.

It's so bad at the moment that Pulis would be welcome. That said, if we field our new signings and play attacking football this weekend and get a draw, we will all be a little happier!
