Road racing teams have there kit designed by the sponsors. e.g Sky design the British cycling teams kit thats why its black instead of red, white and blue.

Load of fuss about bugger all if you ask me. Female track and field athletes wear far less and far more revealing clobber - as do the beach volleyball girls. Not a word of complaint about those.

Mirror on-line picture I saw yesterday had a black line across the foam saddle padding - even more silly.

You could say that that design is very disrespectful to women and I believe its a lack of serious sponsorship. I'm very surprised that they agreed to model it and wear it.

Apparently is was designed by one of the team, the so called flesh colour is the colour of their main sponsor, (some food company) and they've been wearing it all year. Some lazy journo makes a big deal out of it on a slow news day. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
