Aren't you a little old to be eating fish fingers??? Contrary to what you say you can't actually get fish fingers over here, the fish sticks are not the same.

Yes, I know that they get called that here but trust me they are not the same as fish fingers are in the UK. For starters they are not that cheap, the breading is very different and the fish is not the same!!

the 70p ones are the shit tesco value crap thats minced pollock and shaped like that.
If I wanted a proper fish finger made of proper cod fillet it would be about £1.50 for 10 birds eye ones
Removed until we're actually on our way back

Used to love fish fingers, but due to them being crap over here haven't had them for ages!! Was down in LA last week and found a British shop in Santa Monica that does proper sausage rolls and pork pie!!! All of us couldn't resist that and had one of each of them each!!!

There comes a point where you refuse to pay the silly prices though!! A large jar of marmite over here is $22, I just simply refuse to pay that, so we use the stores we know for the odd treat here and there, any more than that and I would need to remortgage my house to pay for it!!
Just to add, the sausage rolls were $4 each and the pork pie was $7.50!!!

Oh there is plenty of other things that make living here better!!! But yes there comes a point where once I have gone through the stock of English food that I buy when in the UK, I have to go without until my next trip back!!
