I think both of us have been advocating 3-5-2 since the Meggo era
 and I used Maguire's name to emphasise just how wrong SG is with his tactics  even Maguire could, at a push, be used in that formation

Not too surprised he will give him to the end of the season and see how we finish this season off.

Feels a bit like when Big Jack ran out of gas at this level & we brought Wilko in and he got immediate promotion using the core of the existing players, adding two or three new ones but changing the tactics to gain an edge. Maybe history will repeat itself.
