I think Southampton, amongst others, tried that one. It didn't wash with the authorities but look at them now

I would imagine they will try nd do everything they can to avoid the points deduction until such a time as they are more than 10 points above relegation. Will be interesting to see what the FL say o do about this one in the coming weeks!!
