Well! Confused

I've just noticed that themaclad has put down wrong set of predictions. Whenever this has happened before, I've seen it in time to get whoever it was to change them. However, this time it's well into the second half of the Saturday games. Blush

What do we do? I think we'll have to let it go this once. It's a genuine mistake. Not quite in the Tyrone Mings league of genuine mistakes. Tongue

I think that would be a correct decision to make L/S, because it would unfair to rob him of possible glory and a merit point ! (as if i ever got one?)

So will u be marking Andy on his games?  Need to know for my scoring..

For the record, i've thrown away 10pts because of not posting 4 games in the pst 2 weeks.. Boo Hoo.

Yes I will. Like I said, I would've asked him to change them if I'd noticed earlier.

It's a mistake by themaclad first of all and you've held your hand up to say you didn't spot it. We have to own what we post really. Been grateful you've spotted mine before. If the rest of the group are OK with giving him points for "ours" instead of "yours" predictions, then let it ride on this occassion. He busts a gut on these boards so give him one honest mistake is my opinion.

Right so what did I really come back on here for? Oh, yeah, our match tonight. It looks like the Red Mancs Under Achievers haven't picked my goalscorer, so can i change wotsisname to thingumybob please Snoots. Make it Wheatley to (Jennifer Tongue) Ennis please Snoots?

Division One results for Matchday 14: Four good scores and two poor scores in this week's matchday scores. The top score included two correct scores and went to jjamez with 24 points, closely followed by Baggie Bob with a score of 22. Bob's score included a correct 4 point joker as well as a full badger house with three correct scorers and also two correct scorers in the Crawley game. Hope I'm not overusing the word score/scores/scorers in this. Anybody keeping score of how many I've used? Whistle

So then we come to the controversial themaclad entry. As stated already in the thread that he put down predictions for the wrong division. Easily done, I've done it myself before correcting it. Others have also done it, which I've noticed before the games have kicked off and asked for the mistake to be rectified. Unfortunately I never noticed his mistake until half time in the Saturday matches. Way too late to get corrected. So his scores will stand. He wouldn't have scored largely, but did get an 8 point joker on the Liverpool/Villa game, which gave him a tidy total of 20 points.

That 20 point haul was matched by Shep, who's finally got a decent matchday total together after his recent struggles.

The two poor scores came from Snooty and St Charles, who both scored ten points and were both let down by putting their jokers on a Birmingham win. All was going well until Northampton got an injury time equaliser. Tongue

So themaclad still leads the Division One table, but it's now jjamez up into 2nd. That lead is now 8 points. SCO is down to 3rd, 13 points behind jjamez and Bob is 2 points behind him.

Snooty's recent revival has ground to a halt and he's 25 points adrift of Bob now and only 12 above Shep.

Division Two results for Matchday 14: It's been a good week for theo and Amelia. Theo has gone top and Amelia is off the bottom.

The luddite got the top score with 18, a score which included two correct scores. He could've had more, but got a wrong joker. What kind of fool puts a Man City win for a joker? Laugh He did manage to get a Haaland badger though, so that equalled out the loss of points.

Neonfoxinthebox only scored 8 points this week and this has allowed theo to overtake him. Theo leads the table now by 4 points.

Wakey has missed out again. His default 0-0 scores only totted up 6 points and so with a healthy score of 16, Amelia has at last got herself off the foot of the table, dumping Wakey down there. Wakey has been posting from Athens on other social media sites, so maybe he's just forgotten about this silly little game of ours. Sad

Devongone had a reasonable 12 point haul, but ritchiebaby had a bit of a shocker, totting up only 4 points. That could've been 6 points more if Dwight Gayle had been onside when he deflected a last minute Hibs equaliser into the net. Would've been a correct score and a correct badger scorer. Sort of sums up what's happening down Easter Road this season. Doh
