We went down to our worst defeat in years as Watford hit us for SIX!! I thought we were slightly the better team in the first half and went in level at the break. Watford took the lead when Porteus scored from close range, but Smith levelled soon after. But it all went downhill in the 2nd half once Watford took the lead with back to back penalties (both pens imo). Watford quickly made it 4-1, before Valentin pulled one back. Any thoughts of a comeback were quickly dismissed as Watford scored 2 more as the game finished 2-6.

Next up Norwich make the journey north. The Canaries have made an OK start to the season and currently lie in 10th place. They have probably drawn too many games so far, 6 out of 13. If they can turn some of those draws into wins, they should have a shout at the playoffs come the end of the season. They are managed by Johannes Hoff Thorup who took charge in the summer. There leading scorer is Borja Sainz with 11 goals and 2 assists.

Famweo is out for months at least meaning we won't see him till the new year meaning whilst we've shelved his contract talks we had better get a left back again in the transfer window! But the problem is there's no good ones around even in the summer transfer window left back is not an English thing ! We might have to look abroad and take a gamble like we did with Valentin but the problem here a foreigner needs at least 6 months to settle in like Valentin did !
Kolbacki is also out for months as well so we are paper thin in this position as well ...basically one more Injury away from an academy call up which might be a blessing in disguise as we never get let down with the kiddies !

Bernard may not play tonight due to being 1 yellow of a suspension meaning he will miss the stain ! I think it would be wise to put that kiddie in tonight instead of having too give him a baptism of fire at the shithole !
