I would say once you have picked a scorer that should stand, regarless if he is playing or not? Who has time to see who is playing or not, then cahne his scorer....
Most of mine haven't even played... Is that my fault or should i be more dilligent??

I see your point, Bob. But I don't think we need to stop that. If you want, I'll PM you in future if you put down a Town scorer who's injured.

My take is that the clubs whose scores and scorers we are trying to guess are allowed to change their starting line-up and subs right up to kick-off as long as the refs and, presumably, opposition are informed. Players getting knocks in the last training session the day or morning before the game or even in the pre-match warm-up's are no more in our control than guessing who might or might not be playing up to a week before kick-off.
We actually don't have to press "Post Reply" until 1 minute before the kick-off of every game if we don't want to, so making a change up to the same point in time as long as we inform the ref (Snoots) and everyone else via another Reply Post if we do is fair game.
There's many a time when I post the match day squad on one of my threads and forget (frequently - it's an age thing), or don't have time, (ocassionally - it's a social thing) to check who I've picked to score and realise during (or after) the game I've got someone down who isn't/wasn't going to play.
It's a lot easier to make the changes to last minute predictions sat at home than it is when you're in the middle of a conversation, and/or ordering a pre-match round of drinks in a nearby pub. Don't get me started about getting an interweb signal in the ground when the error of your ways suddenly comes to your attention via the scoreboard or Rambo (in our case). Getting a signal from Radio Local in our ground can sometimes be a big enough challenge on Digitial to listen to the commentary. Finger in one ear, ear phone in the other, left foot on the seat in front, bent metal coat hanger hanging out of your .... as I was saying.

OK Mr. Snoots, I've gone for Mr. Bojangles to replace Marshall for Town and Mr. Humphrys to replace Connell for t'Pink 'uns s'il vous plaît.
Hope you are being served (dinner) tonight but if not I trust your veg is well cooked.

Division One results for Matchday 9: Probably the lowest scoring week ever in Division One, with St Charles Owl getting the top score with only 8. That's right, not one player in double figures. So Shep missing the Saturday afternoon games didn't affect his position at all really. Yes he came bottom of the weekly table, but he hasn't lost any ground.
Shep scored two points, as did Baggie Bob and that was from a late substitute, with Danny Ward scoring in injury time on Tuesday night. And that was the same for Snooty who was on zero points up until the Bristol Street Motors Trophy game kicking off.
Jjamez and themaclad scored 4 points each and so it was a 4 point correct score on a Wednesday win at Coventry that won the day for SCO and moves him into second place in the table, three points behind Mac and three above Bob. Jjamez is 2 points further back in 4th with Shep ten points adrift of him in 5th.

Division Two results for Matchday 9: In stark contrast to the Division One scores, everybody scored well in Division Two, with the lowest weekly score being enough to have had the top score in Division One.
That lowest score though went to neonfoxinthebox with just ten. So that has allowed the chasing pack to close in.
That top score then went to theo and he is now only three points adrift of Devongone and 13 behind the fox. Theo had two correct scores and a correct joker in his total of 24 as well as a goal for super David Kasumuuuuuuu.
Ritchiebaby, Wakey and Amelia all scored 18 and so despite theo's move closer to the top, there aren't any actual positional changes this week
