New start summer transfer and gossip thread 24|25 season
It's always been the agenda it just took many years of bullshit before it finally came through for the corrupt bastards! Like you say we are still getting bummed because our owner will not play the game still.
Bad thing or a good thing it doesn't help us in this corrupt business of football .

12M for Stansfield whilst in L1 Laugh

Meanwhile, our players aren't even pushed to simulate like most clubs nowadays.
Like many other Clubs who aren't actively cheating in one-way or another we're getting left behind by trying to play corrupt game with an honest approach.

Sunderland as an example. A good team, big club with functioning infrastructure.
That doesn't stop the players simulating on the pitch to gain an advantage. They were still doing it at 4-0 which is pathetic.

Gnonto for Leeds.. flopped pathetically in our area trying to get a penalty.
Such is the bias, he wasn't even carded and then went on to make a horrendous tackle on Ingellsson which should have resulted in a second yellow and a red. He stayed another pitch and though and assisted in one of their goals. And THAT is how referees influence games with decisions.

Bare in mind we've played 3 games so far, and two of those teams we've played actively simulated to gain an unfair advantage. Whether we stood a chance or not in those games, that is what happened.
This should already give you an idea of how this season is going to go. Other Clubs are beginning to adopt this tactic rather than simply be the victim of it.

Also, bare in mind we were the only Club in league football to not be awarded a penalty last season despite having genuine shouts.
We were carded for soft fouls constantly to the point our discipline raised a concern.
A bit like the Iorfa booking in the Leeds game, it wasnt even a foul it was a 50/50 even the biased sky commentary deemed it harsh.
That didn't stop the ref giving them a dangerous FK though.
It greatly helps to have the EFL Stooges in your pocket.

People still believing this is coincidence or just human error will be the same mugs that believe everything the Government tells them. .. Mugs!

All teams have players that simulate or go down easily on the slightest contact. Paterson has always been good at this, as is Windass. Palmers goes both ways, goes down easily and commits niggly fouls and then claims innocence. Some players are better at it but it goes on everywhere and in every team including ours.

I'm not suggesting we've never had players do it, Forestieti used to do my head in with it, and he was frequently booked, remember? Not rewarded or let go like Gnonto often is. Or like Sunderland.

I'm saying we don't apply simulation game after game as a Club tactic. Like the clubs/players mentioned.
Windarse has certainly had a few moments but to again measure this as remotely equal to that of other Clubs is way off and not on the same level.

57 games and counting since our last penalty award.
Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

It'll be another 57 before we're likely to get one.

The strangest transfer has to be Toney hanging up his boots and chasing Arab oil money.

40k per week at Brentford
400k per week in Saudi Arabia

If they can so easily throw that sort of money at a footballer. Just think what sort of political influence they can afford.

Sleepwalking masses in their oblivious little bubble worlds.

Anyhoo, we didn't seem to squeeze another player through the door at the eleventh hour.

Starting to feel like we needed another CB as well as CM.
We're not threadbare but we've no strength in depth either.
This squad should be capable of avoiding relegation though I reckon we're going to suffer a few pastings.

Sounds like Rohl himself is baffled by the subpar results coming from the group and he's clueless as to which permutation will bring success.
