Luke Norris has agreed a new one-year contract to remain with Tranmere Rovers.

The striker, 30, scored six goals and had four assists from 21 appearances he made during the season.

But he missed a large chunk of the League Two campaign through injury.

He had moved to Prenton Park last summer after helping Stevenage get promoted to League One.

"I was really excited when I signed here last year, it didn’t really go to plan with a nasty injury but that’s all behind us now, so I’m really looking forward to getting a full season in," he said.

Tranmere Rovers have confirmed the signing of midfielder Sam Finley from Bristol Rovers on a two-year deal.

Finley, 31, joins on a free transfer with his contract at the Memorial Stadium expiring this month.

He spent three years at Rovers after spells with Fleetwood and Accrington, helping the club reach League One in 2022.

“I’m delighted. I came and met the gaffer last week, and we had a good chat as he showed me round the training ground,” Finley said, external.

“The size of the club, the stadium and the fanbase, and being closer to home as well, with my family. It’s massively important for me.”

Finley becomes Tranmere boss Nigel Adkins’ first signing of the summer.

Tranmere Rovers have signed striker Josh Davison from League Two rivals AFC Wimbledon for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old scored 13 goals in 73 league appearances for the Dons after joining from Charlton in July 2022.

Davison played under Rovers boss Nigel Adkins when the latter was in charge of the Addicks.

"I've played some of my best football under the gaffer and he always made me feel confident when I was playing, so I'm looking forward to that again," he told the club website.

Tranmere Rovers have signed defender Cameron Norman on a two-year deal.

The 28-year-old will officially join Rovers on 1 July when his contract with MK Dons expires.

"Cameron further strengthens our squad and the ambition we have," boss Nigel Adkins told the club website., external

"He is a consistent and reliable player with a hunger to improve and we are delighted he has joined us."

Tranmere Rovers have signed forward Sol Solomon on a one-year contract after he left non-league side Marine as well as teenage midfielder Josh Williams on a two-year deal.

Solomon, 23, joins having helped Marine to promotion to National League North last season with a contribution of 24 goals.

Solomon previously played for Jersey Bulls, where he was their record goalscorer having scored 60 goals in 71 appearances.

Welshman Williams, 19, links up with Tranmere having left Welsh side Connah's Quay Nomads, where he made 69 appearances and played in the Europa League qualifiers.

“Tranmere’s a big club so I’m happy to be here. I’ve been to the ground a few times and watched a few games, seen the fans, and it was a no-brainer for me," Solomon told the club website., external

“It’s a special moment for me and my family. It’s a lot of hard work, not just from me, but from my mum and dad behind the scenes.”

“I’ve got family and friends who are Tranmere fans so for it to be Tranmere, it’s a massive opportunity and a massive club, " Williams added.

Tranmere Rovers have signed defender Zak Bradshaw on a season-long loan deal from League One side Lincoln City.

The 20-year-old came through Ipswich Town's academy and joined the Imps in January.

He spent the latter half of last season on loan with Irish side Dundalk, making 18 appearances for the League of Ireland side.

"I want to go to a side fighting at the top and the manager has made it clear that's the goal this season," Bradshaw told the club website.

Tranmere Rovers have signed forward Omari Patrick on a one-year contract.

The 28-year-old most recently played for Sutton United, making 43 appearances in all competitions for the club last season.

He joins Nigel Adkins' side following a trial, having previously won promotion from League Two with Carlisle United in 2023.

"I’ve been here for about two weeks and I’ve been welcomed ever since I got here so now I can’t wait for the season to get going and do what I know I can do.," he said.
