Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general
For me bin the xxxx thing the fa cup died many many years ago thanks to man UTD .

Ironic really they can only dream of winning it now ..Fergie wanker !

I hope they never win it again for their part in the destruction of English football.
Both Scamchester teams are black listed in my book.

The cups can't be taken seriously anymore and the leagues are so full of corruption and cheating it's almost impossible to enjoy it.

In fairness to this season, there's an element of excitement as the campaign draws to a close
The top and bottom spots are not yet set in stone ( with the exception of Rotherham)
Southampton have caught up, two of their final games are against Leeds and Leicester which will ultimately decide someone's season.

Similarly, at the bottom teams like Huddersfield, Brum, Plymouth and Stoke have games against one another which could either help or hinder Wednesday depending on our results.

Of course, that's for those who still hold belief and hope these players will come through for the Club.
Personally, I don't see it. These players have shown themselves to be unreliable and incapable.
Dropping points against Swansea and not pasting Stoke when they should've are just two examples of points pissed down the drain which would've changed our situation greatly.
Losing Poveda is just so typical of Wednesday's luck.

Today/Tomorrow will likely be another example of how over paid prima donna's are toxic to Club culture.
I wouldn't be surprised if half of them are mentally on their holidays already, it would fit some of their characters.

We're also going to be the only club in the EFL that didn't get a penalty award despite there being a couple of definite calls..
Goals disallowed
Red cards that weren't red cards
Two pens in two mins against us by Cardiff
Extremely Dodgy officiating that only goes one way, never just poor for both teams.

And yet there's still sections of the fanbase that can't see what's happening right in front of them Laugh Doh

It's been interesting that's for sure but very painful there's only been 2 moments where I looked at the table with a sigh of relief and the rest has been painfully depressing ! I've not enjoyed 1 game all season ( pre season included ) neither when the fixture list came out was that enjoyable either ! A season to very much forget forever with one positive...Cadz the end ..go get relegated I'm more than over us !

It's all West Brom so far in their game against Leicester.
Leicester could really be going for bottle jobs if the season if they're not careful. If they fail to get a result today and Southampton also beat them, they're in the shit.

As for Wednesday. Next season we've got Cadamarteri and the young lad Charles in goal.
Which might not be a terrible foundation for life in Division 3, we just need some experience signed to protect and push them.
Even if for some bizarre miracle, Vardy wanted to join us, there's no way we could pay him.

As I say that Leicester score

EPL stadium, EPL team, winning at home and the fans are quiet as mice...

Leicester fans are crap

Dubious penalty award to Leicester city..

It's their 13th of the season.. 13 penalties and there's people that don't believe there's cheating involved.

Vardy misses. There's some justice in that.

Leicester awarded there 13th penalty of the season, bit soft, then Vardy misses the penalty.

13 penalties, while we still wait for our first.

Quiet first half in the Championship, just the 1 goal and that's for Southampton..

Blunts 2 down at home to Burnley.

Stoke lead Plymouth just before HT

Stoke 2 up

Huddersfield level

Birmingham level but that game was delayed by 35 minutes

Huddersfield 0-1 Swansea

Huddersfield losing, Birmingham drawing. Still up to us to get a result anyway, no matter what happens.
