Walsall have re-signed Josh Gordon on a loan deal from League One side Burton Albion for the rest of the season.
The 29-year-old striker returns to the club where he spent three seasons after arriving from Leicester City in 2018.
He becomes the Saddlers' third mid-season signing following the arrivals of Norwich City defender Emmanuel Adegboyega and his former Drogheda team-mate Evan Weir.
"I know Josh well. I know his strengths," said head coach Mat Sadler.
"There were multiple clubs in for him in a very tight market for strikers, so we're really pleased to get it over the line."
"I've been speaking to the head coach for a while," said Gordon. "I've played with him. I know what he's about so when we had a conversation, it just felt right for me to come here and enjoy my football. It's a club close to my heart. I've always been looking out for the results."
Gordon, who left Walsall for two seasons at Barrow in 2021, before moving on to Burton last summer, is available for selection for 13th-placed Walsall for Saturday's trip to Stockport County.

Walsall have signed West Brom's Mo Faal on loan until the end of the season after the striker's stay at Doncaster was ended early.
The 20-year-old scored nine goals in 33 games with Doncaster, where he initially moved on a season-long loan in August.
"Mo is someone I have looked at for a long time," Walsall head coach Mat Sadler told the club website.
"We're delighted that he's chosen us to be the next part of his journey."

Walsall's Brandon Comley has signed a new contract with the League Two club.
The 28-year-old midfielder is now tied to the Saddlers until June 2026.
Montserrat international Comley has made 71 appearances since arriving as a free agent in the summer of 2022 from Dagenham & Redbridge.
"Brandon is someone we wanted to make sure we secured. He is a player who goes under the radar at times with the hard work he does for the team," said Saddlers boss Mat Sadler.
"One of the biggest compliments I can pay him is that he reminds me a lot of Adam Chambers, with the unnoticed work he did around the team and the vital role that he played, and that's what Brandon is for us."
Walsall currently lie 16th in League Two - but, in a congested table, they are only three points of a play-off place.

Walsall striker Jamille Matt has signed a new one-year contract with the League Two club.
The 34-year-old scored six goals in 40 appearances this season, having arrived from Forest Green Rovers on an 18-month deal in January 2023.
Matt said Walsall is "the only place I wanted to be" and is looking to build on this season's performances.
“The second half especially given how we played. I think there are some good foundations there to kick on and do even better next year," he added.
The club have also offered a new deal to goalkeeper Jackson Smith, who played 30 games after joining The Saddlers from Wolves last summer.
Fellow keeper Owen Evans, defender Rollin Menayese, midfielder Joe Riley and forward Aramide Oteh have all been released.
Walsall will, however, be taking up options to extend the contracts of Taylor Allen, Douglas James-Taylor and Harry Williams.
Midfielder Allen and forward James-Taylor both scored three goals in 33 appearances in 2023-24 as Walsall finished 11th, while defender Williams played 16 games in the first half of the campaign.

Walsall are to sign right-back Connor Barrett when his contract with National League club AFC Fylde expires at the end of the month.
The 22-year-old, who made 41 appearances last season and scored three goals, rejected a new contract offered by Fylde.
And he has agreed a three-year deal with the Saddlers, who finished 11th in League Two last season.
Fylde are entitled to a compensation fee and a Walsall statement said they hoped to "resolve this matter in due course".
Barrett, who began his career in the Leicester City academy, is the first signing of the summer transfer window by the Bescot club.
"We have been really impressed with him during his time with Fylde," said head coach Mat Sadler.
"He's another exciting young player that we have been able to add into the mix of what we already have here and I'm excited to see what he can do in a Saddlers shirt."
Barrett added: "All the conversations with the head coach were positive and I feel that under his management and his guidance, he’ll push me one step further.”

Walsall have made their second summer signing by bringing in Charlie Lakin following his departure from League One club Burton Albion.
The 25-year-old former Birmingham City midfielder has signed a two-year deal, which will officially activate on 1 July.
Solihull-born Lakin went out on loan last season to two of the Saddlers' League Two rivals, first to AFC Wimbledon before moving on to Sutton United.
He made his Blues first-team debut in January 2018, making 15 appearances, and going out on loan to both Stevenage and Scottish side Ross County before joining Burton on a three-year deal in August 2021.

Walsall have re-signed striker Josh Gordon from Burton Albion on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old, who moves on a free transfer after "a mutual agreement" was reached between the clubs, scored one goal in 21 Walsall appearances while on loan from the Brewers last season.
It took his tally to 22 goals in 128 league appearances for Walsall, having previously spent three years with the Saddlers after joining them from Leicester in 2018.
He had spent just six months with Burton before going back to the Saddlers last season, making 23 appearances after his summer arrival from Barrow.
"Josh forms an integral part of my squad and I'm delighted for him to be back," Walsall boss Mat Sadler told the club website.

Walsall have signed goalkeeper Tommy Simkin on a season-long loan from Stoke.
The 19-year-old England youth international moves to his hometown club ahead of the new League Two season.
He spent the first half of last season on loan at National League side Solihull Moors before another loan in January to Forest Green.
"I am a local lad and I think it is brilliant to come to this football club and try and play as many games as I can," Simkin told the club website.

Walsall have made their fifth summer signing by completing the signing of Stoke City loan defender David Okagbue on a more permanent basis.
Okagbue, 20, who made 35 appearances on loan from the Championship club, has now signed a two-year contract.
He follows Stoke keeper Tommy Simkin, who signed on a season's loan on Wednesday.
“I am absolutely buzzing to be back,” said Okagbue. “I love the club, I love everything about it. It’s a great group and the staff were really good with me. It was a really easy decision for me.
"As soon as you know you are wanted somewhere, I wanted to come here and I had it in my head the whole time. It took a while but we got there.”
Walsall, who finished 11th in League Two last season, have also re-signed striker Josh Gordon and midfielder Charlie Lakin from Burton Albion, as well as AFC Fylde full-back Connor Barrett.

Walsall have signed experienced winger Albert Adomah on a one-year contract following his release by Queen's Park Rangers.
The 36-year-old made 18 appearances for Rangers last season, 16 of them in the Championship, but following a trial at Bescot, has agreed to drop two divisions to continue his career.
He is Walsall's sixth summer signing ahead of their opening League Two game of the new campaign at home to Morecambe on 10 August.
"I started off in League Two at my local club Barnet nearly 16 years ago, so now I’m back in League Two where the journey started," he told the club website. "With my experience, hopefully I can help the youngsters."
Adomah has also played for Bristol City, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest - winning promotion from the Championship with both Boro and Villa.
He joined QPR in 2020 and scored six goals in 121 league games for the west London club, where he was often used from the bench.
"There were some options that I had in that right wing-back spot that I was considering but then Albert came in and completely changed all of that with the way he’s gone about things, the person that he is, the way he conducts himself around the group and most importantly what he does on the grass," said Saddlers head coach Mat Sadler.
“His professionalism and dedication to keep playing and put himself as the best athlete he can be is unquestionable and that delivery and quality in the final third will be a real force for us this season."
