Predictions anybody?
I reckon Australia to win it with South Africa as runners up. NZ and England to make the semis.

Excellent, World Cup cricket has arrived...just a shame I won't see many of the England games due to the 3:30am start times.

Was looking forward watching the match in the morning but for the first time this century I have been asked to work Saturday morning. Not turning that down. Smile

No Sky or broadband for me this weekend, come to think of it not even a telly to stare at so unless I watch it on my 4G phone it's a total non starter for me and I don't fancy watching it on a tint screen at that time of day

God, I am so out of date when it comes to cricket!! But based on what I read on here and Snooty's excellent threads I am predicting an Australian victory on home soil, with England playing them in the final!!

The thing with England is inconsistency. We can look like world beaters in one innings and dummies in the second.

Sri Lanka v New Zealand, Christchurch
New Zealand 331-6 (50)
Sri Lanka 233 (46.1)
New Zealand won by 98 runs
Scorecard

England v Australia, Melbourne (d/n)

Scorecard

England are getting pasted! We're looking at a score of around 350 to chase.  Doh

Aus 342-9 (50)

The tide has changed. Finn takes a hat trick with the last three balls of the innings. We therefore keep the score down to 342. That should now be gettable.

Yeah, right. Wink
