OK so Harry has walked off in a sulk having failed to get financial backing in the transfer window. Or is his knee really the reason?
Sherwood looks very likely, although maybe Leicester could steal him at the eleventh hour?
Who is right for QPR - it must be on a 18 month, rebuild a squad in the Championship agenda, surely?

I reckon the knee was a good excuse Harry has spent a lot of money, yeah fair play he did get them out of the championship at first attempt(just!) but hasnt done the job he did at Tottenham, West Ham or Portsmouth on the pitch.
I dont think it`ll be Sherwood given what Fernandes said think Brian Laudrup or even something really out there like Giovanni Trapattoni
There is a decent squad there but it is unbalanced and has had key players underperforming (particuarly all three main centre halves), desperately need a real forward to go with Austin rather than a loan signing

Oh Right Chris Ramsey was the guy Fernandes said they`d been tracking and didnt want to say anything
What a boring appointment, I mean hardly set the EPL on fire, couldnt even manage the dressing room by the sounds of it

I assume they realized that he was as good as they would get currently!! The will have to slash their wage bill, which unless they have players on contracts that automatically reduce upon relegation, will mean losing a number of their better players.

If they are going for a youth policy then it does make some sense.
They have little money, and soon could have even less, so I guess Ramsey fits the pay structure
Ferdinand seems to get on with him and they have obviously tested theories and plans and agree in an approach
He will have a sage like senior quality that the youth will be happy to take direction from
I assume there are young players in the club already and if the work with them is going well it does not upset their development
Joey Barton adds the 'current pro' status to the squad - but would you want him as a role model for your child!
