LAST MATCH

Back to back defeats in the league as Hull won comfortably. We gave up possession again just like the Southampton game although we were defending fairly well. With our first proper attack we took the lead Iorfa getting down the right and Delgado swept it in at the near post. Hull equalized in injury time, Gregory fouling in the box and Tufan scored from the penalty. Onto the 2nd half and we forgot how to defend properly. Tufan completed his hat trick as we failed to close him down twice and he finished well both times. A blind back pass led to an empty net fourth, while Smith got a "consolation" in injury time.

THE MATCH

Next up Preston at Hillsborough. They have made a good start to the season with a win & a draw, beating Sunderland and drawing with Bristol City. Will Keane has a couple of goals and an assist so far this season, he played for us in 2015 scoring 3 in 13 games. They are managed by Ryan Lowe, who played for us in the 2011-12 season scoring 8 in 26. He has been linked with the Wednesday job when there has been a vacancy. Not sure where they could finish, but they must be looking to try and finish in the playoffs although that wont be an easy task.

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

Would love a point to kick on with but it's going to be a rough couple of months for us
The building blocks are there, this squad should reach 50pts thereabouts.

Moore spotted at Derby's home loss last night, boards getting twitchy there and going to gamble on Darrenball. Laugh
It'd be suicide to sack Warne for Moore
