Posted this on Twitter earlier, but I'll give it an airing on here too. The Cricketer's resident cartoonist offered a wry take on the weather for the fourth Ashes Test at Old Trafford... on this very day in 1921.

You'd think that after a century they'd have worked out Manchester is best done first or second for the sake of keeping the series alive. I guess Warney put them off in '93, but we're a bit beyond that now.

Fantastic final session to bring the series to a close and deny Australia an outright win on our soil again. Inevitably it's all slightly bittersweet after last weekend and the knowledge we could have been celebrating a 3-2 victory instead, but still, what a way for Broady to bow out.
