Meanwhile in NI, Sinn Fein unsurprisingly endorsing the nationalist demographic on the local elections and this is just more confirmation they'll eventually pull away from all the Unionist bullshit re the ongoing ridiculous Stormont fiasco, an affront to proper democratic governance, and the NI Unionist Brexit collaboration with the Brexit Tories. And I notice earlier on in the week Siobhan McSweeney's (Derry Girls actress) BAFTA award speech disgracefully censored/dubbed by the "impartial" (??????) BBC - unbelievably omitting Siobhan's passing criticism of the Brit govt and their colluding partners with reference to the endurance of this fiasco by decent communities in the likes of Derry. What a despicable situation this country (down south) has placed itself in through the crass actions of bastard, fascist govts like the one in Westminster. It looks like Elon Musk's recent damning interview comments re the state-driven BBC were "spot on", based on his own brief observations of this Tory infiltrated radio/tv broadcaster and in spite of the post "hurt reaction" of certain BBC backers saying otherwise. Impartiality? My arse!! The difference is night n day when one compares the overall reporting of the BBC World Service with a lotta shit that certain BBC operators are getting away with in this country.

Sinn Fein are now the main party in local government in NI and should be the main party in stormont. Thats democracy. Its an absolute outrage that the unionists are paralysing the place with their non engagement, but the writing is on the wall for them now. Their gerrymandered state is starting to crumble around them.

I stand by my prediction that we will see a poll and a united Ireland in a generation. The bulk of the hardcore unionists will end up moving to Scotland or the north of England. It's just demographics at work, and hopefully we see some of that over our way too with the young "standing up for what belongs to them".

Aye Theo! That sums her up perfectly! What I still find totally baffling is the fact she is a product of immigrants from Kenya and yet she has no empathy for the plight of lotsa people who are seeking a safe haven in the UK. What happened to "turn" this woman into such a callous, uncaring moron with values that are "fit for the gutter"? Was she brainwashed?

The public seem to want their politicians to be horrible, lying bastards these days. The tories by trying to please the dim as xxxx brexiteers and gammons are pushing themselves into a zone that can only be described as full on facist.

No wonder no one argues about any benefits to Brexit any more , its long been shown for what it is. A cheap scam to keep the super riches out of sight while we make do with the shite consequences.

Well, some of them do hibee. I'd like to think most of us aren't like that but apparently it's only around 48% of us that are allowed to vote, or as they put it, do vote.

What was highly illustrative was the question time special with brexit voters in clacton on sea ( i know i know)

You had one auld dear ranting about how our guys couldnt go up on roofs without safety equipment, some fat gammon moaning about immigrants going "straight to the benefits office on arrival" (an obvious lie that wasn't challenged) and a woman who thought it was good we werent involved in "investment".

Thats before you get to the lies and crap being spewed out by Ben Habib (including accusing the irish government of threatening violence) and "legitimate concerns about immigration" from some labour shill.

Conclusion? = Clacton has a serious inbreeding problem and Commander Farage is the greatest British political figure since Winston.

As long as the silly old dear is going to stand under the roof edge to catch them when they fall off, what's the problem? Safety kit is common fecking sense for the most part, not something mandated by the EU. When I asked my former colleagues in France "what is your equivalent to our HSE" they just shrugged their shoulders and laughed. They didn't have one (and likely still don't). Ours is rapidly heading their way with the way our Guvinmint is slashing funding. Hell, they've got mates to turn into billionaires, money doesn't grow on trees you know.

Any immigrants going to the benefits office would most likely be stuck in a helluva long queue behind the Brits that game the system.
I've a cousin that did it for most of her so called working life and quite possibly still is. (Married two kids, gawd knows how many grand-kids, I've lost count). Doh

I guess Clacton is twinned with Todmorden. Possibly twin brothers and/or sisters, but maybe with different fathers? just count the fingers, or toes.

Believe it or not I know someone that has 3 kids, two are twins and four "dads" are paying her maintenance money. Whistle
Yes the mum is English, white, blonde and has other, erm, "attributes" that would more than likely attract a bunch of horny males of a certain age group.
No idea if she's ever had a proper job either. Huh
